On March 17, 2003 record temperatures hit the Buffalo, NY area for St. Patty’s Day, reaching a high of 64 degrees.  These temperatures caused the Cazenovia Creek to rise & Ice Jams to form.  These pictures are just a sample of what the day/night had to offer to local residents of South Buffalo.  Basements in the area closest to the creek were filling up anywhere from 6 inches to 2 feet.
